dreaming Mars
The night was dark as if it was painted all black. The clock struck ay exactly 9 in the evening when Nordick arrived home after a tiring practice on their recital. He did not eat his supper and immediately went on his bed to rest. Nordick quickly changed his clothes and laid on his bed. That was the first time he reposed his weary body after that practice. He decided to switch on the television to watch programs and found himself watching an alien-inspired program. To relax, he stares at the TV. and as he was watching, he felt a heavy force on his eyes, suddenly he fell asleep.
When he opened his eyes again, he realized that he’s not in his bed anymore. He was stunned because he finally realized that he is on a strange and unknown place. He looked around and saw that the sky was green. There were varieties of pretty flowers in a hill on the corner, and on the other side, there was a forest filled with trees.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps 0coming from the hill, and Nordick barely saw a group of elf-like creatures. They were all dressed in green and yellow boots. They were closed to him and Nordick felt goosebumps over his entire body and he couldn’t move.
“Thanks your highness”, said one of the creatures.
“Wha….what are you talking about, he frightened said.
“Why am I here, and what of creatures are you “, he added.
They said that Nordick killed their mortal enemy, Odin, a bad sorceress. He as annoyed because he knew that in his entire life, as a child, he did not kill anyone, even a witch. They brought him to a huge room and Nordick was indulged to see different delicious meals in a long and wide golden table.
“Please eat your meal “, said one of the elves.
“Who are you?” he said.
We are the Martians her in the plane Marso and you, yes you, killed our enemy Odin ,that treated us as her slaves for thousands of years. I am Orpheus”, he said.
He did not know what will be his reaction. He continued finishing his meals.
After that lunch, Orpheus took Nordick to Queen Hera. She is a beautiful, nice, gentle and powerful queen.
“Hello, Nordick. I am glad to meet you, little boy”, she said.
“Heloo too, Queen Hera. Now that I defeated your mortal enemy, can I go home now”, he asked.
“Nordick, this is a land of dreams and Odin is the Goddess of dreams. You can’t go home again”, she said as tears fell on her eyes.
“Oh no, I won’t see my mother anymore. Oh, my Queen! Is there any other way?”, cried hopeless Nordick.
Queen Hera replied and said that the only way to end this dream I to wish on Odin’s magical crystal, and he failed, he will be in this land forever. He decided to go to Odin’s palace at the end of the forest with Orpheus.
“Be careful. Your way to the palace isn’t that easy. You will encounter obstacles that will test your courage and strength. I blessed you with my magical power”, she said. She gave two stones to them and said that if troubles come, just put the stone near their heart and just believe.
The two started their way to the Deadly Forest. As they enter the forest, a frightful voice was echoing the whole place. And as they went further and further, the noise gets louder and louder. Suddenly, a loud roar broke the silence of the night. They both trembled in fear, then, a giant monster came in front of them. They did not know what to do until nordick remembered what Queen Hera said. He put out the stones from his pocket and gave the other to Orheus. They both placed the stones near their heart and closed their eyes. As they opened their eyes, they saw a glooming light at the giant. In a blink of an eye, the giant disappeared .then they went on Odin’s palace and saw the crystal. But before he wished, he thanked Orpheus and all the creatures then he wished.
“I wish, I wish , with all my heart, to go back home, until next time”.
Nordick opened his eyes again and noticed that everything was back to reality. That dream was very adventurous to him. And he won’t forget that, even it is just a dream, he experienced the life in Marso.
