We, Filipinos give importance to our family. In fact we believe in the saying “The family that prays together stays together”. But in modern society today, why is it that there are broken families? What is the major factor that affects a lot in communicating with each other?
For me, the main reason why members of the family do not communicate well is lack of time. Parents are busy with their work that is why; they don’t have enough time to care for their children. They are engaged in their work to earn money for their future, But, money should not be the main reason, more important is attention, It is essential than just earning money. It affects a lot in the mind of their children. It will retain in their minds that their parents do not care for them. Every member of the family should communicate with each other. Parents should have enough time for their children. If they do so, family ties will grow fonder and stronger. Children should also cooperate by opening their problems so that their parents could give advice because parents always know the right thing for their children.
We should remember that more than just money, we must learn how to be in touch with each other. Have time spending memories with your family. In that way, we will lessen family barriers. Remember that the family that communicates with each other stays together.
