103 Lagro High School (LHS) registrant of Alternative Learning System (ALS) took thier National Examination at Don Alejanndro Roces High School (DARHS) last October 26, 20008.
Mrs. Marivic Ruedas, Mrs. Yolanda Penalosa and other baranggay officials also known as instructional manager trained the learners on different categories for two consecutive months on the for the poreparation of the said exam.
"Sa tingin ko ay marami ang makakapasa kasi magagaling yung mga bata", quoted MRs. Ruedas.
Applicants who will pass the exam will have the oppotunity to pursue their studiesand take four years course on college.
According to Mrs. Ruedas, the goal of the program is to reduce the number of out of school youths as well as the school drop outs.
" Sana ay marami ang makapasa upang mabawasanang illiteracy rate ng ating bansa ", Mrs. Penalosa said.
Department of Education (DepEd), Bureau of Noformal Education and Service Provider, Office of the City Mayor, Feliciano Belmonte accredited the proigram for SY: 2008-09.
48 out of 84 LHS learners passed the examination last year.
